Gerry Evans has spent many years leading men’s groups that help men support one another through life’s changes. Now retired and in his eighties, and a member of Penn’s Village, Gerry is starting a small group for retired men who want to connect, share experiences, and feel less alone. This is not a therapy group. It is a friendly and respectful space where men can talk about the opportunities and challenges of this stage of life.
The first meeting is an opportunity to see if the group feels right for you. If there is interest, the group will meet every other week for 12 weeks, with the possibility of continuing.
Many men find that talking with other men helps them feel more connected, supported, and engaged with life.

Cyber crime is on the rise and has grown to become a $10.5 trillion enterprise. Companies, schools, government agencies and individuals are all at risk of being the targets of cyber criminals - and these days, attackers are often AI rather than human. But there are several simple things you can do to help reduce your risk. Join Dottie Schindlinger, author of “Governance in the Digital Age,” who writes and presents frequently on cybersecurity issues to leaders of companies, schools and nonprofits, for an engaging session to help you become more “cyber savvy,” help lower your risk of being the victim of cyber crime, and recover more quickly if you get hacked.
Bio of presenter: Dottie Schindlinger is Executive Director of the Diligent Institute, the think tank and global governance research arm of Diligent Corporation, leading provider of secure corporate board communication and collaboration software used by over 700,000 directors and executives globally. In her role, Dottie provides thought leadership on governance, AI, cybersecurity, and technology topics through presentations to boards and executives dozens of times each year at events around the globe. Her work has been featured in Fortune, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and multiple governance and technology publications.
