Richard Salkowitz has 35 years’ experience as a Human Resources, Employee Benefits, Insurance and Risk Management executive with large public and private companies, as well as serving on the governing boards of several for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. For the last several years he has conducted the annual Medicare Part D insurance policy selection tutorial for Penn’s Village.
Lindsay Dymowski is the president and co-founder of Centennial Pharmacy Services, a chain of independent pharmacies that provide an array of services within the Southeastern Pennsylvania tri-state area. Under Lindsay’s leadership, Centennial Pharmacy Services grew from a single corner pharmacy to a multi-location pharmaceutical care provider and has developed several strategic partnerships within the Philadelphia health care community. In addition to information about Part D benefits, Lindsay will also talk about Centennial Pharmacy’s program to provide at-home flu shots for Penn’s Village members and others this year.
Dan Louis is a volunteer APPRISE counselor at CARIE (The Center for Advocacy for the Rights and Interests of the Elderly). APPRISE, Pennsylvania’s State Health Insurance Assistance Program, provides free, unbiased counseling on Medicare. Previously, he was Research Associate Professor of Family and Community Medicine, and Managing Director of the Center for Research in Medical Education and Health Care, at Thomas Jefferson University, where he taught medical students about health care organization and financing including the Medicare program.
