Due to natural disasters and political unrest, the Haitian population in Philadelphia is expected to grow in the weeks and months ahead and it is unclear if they will receive any support from our federal immigration system and programs. In an effort to grow and sustain the local mutual aid efforts led by Haitian leaders, Philadelphia residents are being asked to consider supporting newly arrived families resettling here.  If you are interested, information about how to help can be found on the City's website:

Most programs are free of charge to our members and active volunteer partners.  Non-member guests are welcome to attend up to three programs before being asked to join Penn's Village as a member or volunteer partner.
