Beware Election Phishing Scams
 
Pennsylvania elections officials are warning Philadelphia-area voters about a text messaging scam. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer "the message tells the recipient that they are not registered to vote, and directs them to submit personal information on “AllVote.com,” an unverified, unsecure website."  While the scam so far seems to focus on Montgomery County, it is a good reminder for all of us to be cautious when asked for personal information.  You can read the Inquirer article here:

Last Call for Singers - Real and Imagined!

Encore Creativity for Older Adults ensembles are non-auditioned choral ensembles for adults 55+. Meet new friends, connect through song, and improve your health and wellness with the new Encore Chorale of Philadelphia this fall! No auditions or experience are required. Rehearse a diverse and exciting repertoire of music for 15 weeks in our 90-minute weekly rehearsal sessions, singing in harmony with fellow music lovers. Encore repertoire includes everything from choral classics from the Great American Songbook to Broadway hits and secular holiday favorites.

The Encore Chorale of Philadelphia meets on Tuesdays from 1:00 - 2:30 PM at Trinity Memorial Church, 2212 Spruce St. The season begins September 3.  For more information and to register, go to

Self-registration is now available on the Penn's Village website!  Please review our Self Registration and register here. You can also register by emailing info@pennsvillage.org or calling 215-925-7333. If you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation to make room for others.
 
Most programs are free of charge to our members and active volunteer partners.  Non-member guests are welcome to attend up to three programs before being asked to join Penn's Village as a member or volunteer partner, or by paying $10 per additional program.  Refunds are available if registration is cancelled prior to the program.
 
Group photos may be taken during these events.
