“The Coarse Actor Prepares” by Michael Green
“I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” by Simon Rich
“The Loudest Voice” by Grace Paley

Via Zoom
Join Polly MacIntyre for a special reading that will get us into the holiday spirit! “The Coarse Actor Prepares” is a follow-up story featuring our favorite “coarse actor,” one who can remember his lines, but not the order in which they come, and whose aim is to upstage the rest of the cast. “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” colors the old novelty song in a darker shade. And finally, “The Loudest Voice” is an amusing tale about a little Jewish girl chosen to play the lead in her school's Christmas pageant.
Polly MacIntyre started acting in Houston, Texas during the1980s, eventually becoming a company member at Main Street Theater in Philadelphia. She created “Belles of Dublin,” an evening of Irish theatre and music. Polly’s film work includes “Bob and the Trees,” which won the Grand Prize at the Karlovy Vary Festival and “Down With the King,” which premiered recently at Cannes and won the Grand Prix at the Deauville Film Festival.
Videoconference information will be provided in an email once payment is received.
