Housed in a 19th-century stone mansion on six acres in Chestnut Hill, the Woodmere Art Museum is dedicated to the art and artists of Philadelphia. Woodmere’s collection consists of more than 9,000 works, and nine galleries offering exhibitions and programs serving adults and children. Its “Docents on the Road” program allows Philadelphians to enjoy Woodmere’s artwork at locations around the city, facilitated by a trained docent.
