Ending Estrangement: Moving On and Reclaiming Lost Relationships
Few of us talk about family estrangement, but it’s incredibly common. One quarter of adults in the U.S. report being estranged from at least one family member. Letting go of anger (toward ourselves or someone else) is especially important as we age. By reading a story from her book, Squint: Re-visioning the Second Half of Life, Margit Novack will help us explore ways to let go and move on. Let’s use the perspective and wisdom we’ve gained as we’ve aged to revise our narrative, and perhaps even reclaim some lost relationships.
Margit Novack
is an entrepreneur, thought leader and widely considered founder of the Senior Move Management industry. After decades in the field of aging and senior living, she moved away from her life of work and title to another role - author, speaker, and champion of a envisioned picture of aging. Squint: Re-visioning the Second Half of Life, is her first book. To purchase the book or find out more about Ms. Novack, visit her website:
