Should I Stay or Should I Go?
Wondering whether you should sell the house you’ve lived in for the past 40 years? Overwhelmed by that prospect? Would you like to stay in your current apartment but worried about how you’ll maintain it as you get older? What will you do with the mementos, large and small, that you’ve collected over the years?
These are tough questions that mean different things to different people. Experts in home safety and organizing will join us to give some advice and things to think about as we take on the very broad concept of “aging in place.”
Bode Hennegan
and
Janet Taylor
are experts in various aspects of home safety, downsizing, and household organizing. For the first 20 minutes, Bode will focus on home safety and things to consider as we get older; Janet will then give some advice about how to take some of the emotions out of decision-making. This will be followed by 20 minutes of Q&A.
You can find Bode at
