Cell Phone and Personal Computer Security -
What You Should Know to Protect Yourself
Thursday, July 18, 2019
2:00 PM

Please join Penn’s village volunteer and member, Yoav Zohar, to discuss cell phone and personal computer security. Whether you make financial transactions, scroll through photos, or check email, protecting your cell phone and personal computer requires that each of us knows how to secure our electronic devices.

Yoav, an iPhone super-user and Penn's Village iOS/Apple expert, will discuss the basics of cell phone and personal computer security. You will also learn how to manage passwords, protect against malware and guard against dishonest people trying to obtain access to your cell phone and personal computer data. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss questions specific to their cell phone or personal computer security needs.

We will meet in the MacColl Room on the second floor First Presbyterian Church, 201 S. 21st Street, entrance on 21st Street. If you will be needing the handicapped entrance, kindly let us know in advance.

Please register by emailing info@pennsvillage.org or by calling 215-925-7333. There is no charge for Penn’s Village members and volunteers. We would appreciate a $5 donation from other guests. Other guests are welcome to attend three programs before joining and/or volunteering.
