By now you have likely heard on the national news, social media, and through advertising about the perceived health benefits of marijuana derivatives. And you have wondered if any of this is true.
Come join Penn’s Village on May 8 for a primer on medical marijuana presented by knowledgeable staff from a local marijuana medicine dispensary. The presentation will discuss what medical marijuana is and what it can and cannot do for you to alleviate medical conditions. The process to secure state and doctor approvals and prescription options will also be discussed.
The presentation will be led by Ms. Megan McElhinney who is a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) employed by Restore Integrative Wellness Center, a licensed medical marijuana dispensary. She has taken many courses including the 4-hour Department of Health approved course that doctors, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals are required to take that focuses on medical marijuana.
We will meet in the MacColl Room on the second floor First Presbyterian Church, 201 S. 21st Street, entrance on 21st Street. If you will be needing the handicapped entrance, kindly let us know in advance.
Please register by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 215-925-7333. There is no charge for Penn’s Village members and volunteers. We would appreciate a $5 donation from other guests. Other guests are welcome to attend three programs before joining and/or volunteering.
