It’s hard to find anyone anywhere who’s more passionate about Philadelphia, it’s incredible history, and the city’s dynamic food scene than Emilio Mignucci of DiBruno Bros. After all, as one of Philadelphia’s true culinary stars and DiBruno’s “Big Cheese,” his family’s history as Philadelphia’s premier cheese mongers goes back more than three generations.
Participants learned about the DiBruno’s family history, which began when Emilio’s uncle and grandfather arrived in America and became vendors in the Italian Market. Theyl also found out about the company’s past and discover what’s in the works for the near future. They eveb tasted some incredible goodies and got to know the store like they never knew it before.
Guests met upstairs at DiBruno’s for coffee, water and pastries and conversation with Emilio and then took a tour and learn more about the operation, before they dispersed and went shopping!
