Project Rozana was established in 2013 in Australia and is today a multi-faith international organization with affiliates in Canada, United States, German-EU, United Kingdom and Israel. It provides opportunities for people-to-people peace building between Israelis and Palestinians through health. The health sector is one of the few areas of civil society where Israelis and Palestinians meet on a large scale with mutual respect. Project Rozana has worked to create positive dialogue between Israeli and Palestinian healthcare professionals, while strengthening the Palestinian healthcare system.
To date, Project Rozana has raised funds towards:
-
The first Binational School of Psychotherapy at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem;
- Training Palestinian physicians and health professionals with their Israeli counterparts;
-
Expanding the volunteer driver program in the West Bank and Israel for Palestinian patients;
-
Establishing a Palestinian-Israeli Specialist Nursing Hub;
- Creating Women4Women. This all-female holistic team provides real healthcare to women and children in remote Palestine villages.
