Safe, Secure, Free & Fair Elections Amid COVID-19
August 10, 2020
The November elections are right around the corner and we need to do all we can to make sure there is safe, equal, and guaranteed access to the ballot box.
Pennsylvania’s June 2 primary was rife with problems: little support for voters without internet access to learn about mail-in ballots; thousands of ballots reportedly turned in after the deadline; consolidation of polling places by 77% at the last minute, leading to widespread confusion; and lack of health and safety standards at polling places.
On August 10th we discussed how we can avoid these problems in the upcoming November and all future elections.
