We are thinking through aging in place vs a CCRC.

Either way people eventually need more care.

Is there info on where Penn Villagers who stayed in place eventually go?

Can a person sign up in advance for Home Care, Rehab, Assistant Living or even a Nursing home.

An advantage of a CCRC is you probably know where you are going to end up someday.

Versus after a hospital stay told you can’t go back to your apartment.

Either ever or after rehab, etc.

The individual is just getting over a hospital stay and has to decide where they can go, what insurance applies, etc.

There are two scenarios: a couple (where one is healthy) and a single person.

We are a healthy couple, but don’t expect that to last forever.
