David Jeffrey Harper is a master cheesemonger at DiBruno Brothers. He will show Penn’s Village members how we can make our own cheese boards at home using a variety of cheese and condiments that can be purchased to make this an easy and fun way to entertain. Whatever your favorite type of cheese, it can be presented in an appetizing way for guests to enjoy.
Bio of presenter: David Jeffrey Harper was named the 2018 Best of Philly Cheesemonger. He says, “My dream job... well is the one I have. I love that I get to open the door to welcome in more cheese lovers.” Harper loves learning, tasting, and sharing his cheese knowledge and tips with customers.
This program is $15 per person and is limited to 40 participants.

Cyber crime is on the rise and has grown to become a $10.5 trillion enterprise. Companies, schools, government agencies and individuals are all at risk of being the targets of cyber criminals - and these days, attackers are often AI rather than human. But there are several simple things you can do to help reduce your risk. Join Dottie Schindlinger, author of “Governance in the Digital Age,” for an engaging session to help you become more “cyber savvy,” help lower your risk of being the victim of cyber crime, and recover more quickly if you get hacked.
Bio of presenter: Dottie Schindlinger is Executive Director of the Diligent Institute, the think tank and global governance research arm of Diligent Corporation. In her role, Dottie provides thought leadership on governance, AI, cybersecurity, and technology topics through presentations to boards and executives dozens of times each year at events around the globe. Her work has been featured in Fortune, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and multiple governance and technology publications. She is co-author of the book, "Governance in the Digital Age: A Guide for the Modern Corporate Board Director," ©2019, John Wiley & Sons, and she co-hosts the fortnightly show, The Corporate Director Podcast.

| | A Program on the Recent Enslavement of Africans
Simon Deng was captured as a child and enslaved in Sudan. After securing his freedom, he found asylum in the United States and has devoted his life to advocating for human rights and the liberation of those still in bondage. At this time, when war and abductions in the Sudan, Nigeria, and other parts of Africa are in the news, join to hear Simon's story and unique perspective. This program will take place on Thursday, February 19 at 6:00 pm at the Parkway Central Library (4th Floor, Skyline Room) at 1901 Vine Street, Philadelphia PA 19103. | | Creative Connections
Hosted by the Philadelphia Art Museum, Creative Connections are workshops for people with Parkinson's and their caregivers. February will have a virtual workshop on Tuesday, February 24 from 10:00 to 12:30 pm and in person on Thursday, February 26 from 10:00 to 1:30 pm. These programs are free but please register in advance by emailing reagan.stone@philamuseum.org.
