Help Penn’s Village Grow: Administrative Roles for Our Community

Penn’s Village has always had administrative needs that are essential to keeping our community strong and thriving. We are now inviting members, friends, and neighbors to consider helping in some of these important behind-the-scenes roles.

These roles are flexible and can be tailored to your interests and availability. You don’t have to be a current volunteer to sign up, and because they do not involve going into members’ homes, there is no need to go through our usual volunteer vetting process.

If you are interested, please email operations@pennsvillage.org and put the role you’d like to learn more about in the subject line.

Creative & Digital Roles

  • Visual Storyteller (Graphic Design and Website Support): Help us keep our online presence fresh, user-friendly, and reflective of our Village.

  • Community Historian: Capture the life of Penn’s Village by managing our photo galleries and preserving our story through images.

Leadership Opportunities

  • Fundraising Organizer: Work with us to develop creative and enjoyable ways to bring in the support that sustains Penn’s Village.

  • Board Member: Join the leadership team shaping the future of Penn’s Village.

Research & Insights

  • Renewals Reviewer: Help us look at last year’s membership data to help us understand what encourages people to stay involved.

  • Survey Researcher: Explore what other Villages ask their members and bring back ideas for Penn’s Village.

  • Feedback Designer: Help us craft questions that will provide meaningful insights for our planning.

  • Story Collector: Turn member experiences, comments, and stories into insights that strengthen our work.

Content & Storytelling

  • Village Blogger: Support our current bloggers by helping to post stories, updates, and reflections to our website. We will train you to use our systems!
