Amma’s South Indian Cuisine serves the traditional South Indian dishes of idli (a steamed bun) and dosa (a crispy pancake). Both are made from a legume and rice and are served with a vegetable “stew” knowns as sambhar as well as accompanying chutneys. The spicing is mild but aromatic. Idli and dosa are famous throughout India and now internationally. Both idli and dosa are vegetarian and vegan and each person will receive a combination of both.
 
Everyone who registers will meet at Amma’s at 12 noon sharp.
 
Lunch is $25 with no refunds. No shows will be donated to Penn’s Village general fund.
 
You must register and pay by March 6, 2025. Space is limited to 20 attendees.


LOCATION

 
This program will be held at Amma's Restaurant at 1518 Chestnut Street. Registrants should meet at the restaurant at noon.

This program is free of charge to our members and volunteer partners.  Non-member guests are welcome to attend up to three programs before being required to join and/or volunteer with Penn’s Village, or pay $10 per additional program.
