Join us for an empowering session hosted by Compassion & Choices Pennsylvania State Manager Heather Pope as we discuss Pennsylvania’s progress and challenges in expanding end-of-life care options. This program will cover the latest advocacy efforts, legislation, and community initiatives focused on empowering individuals with compassionate choices in their healthcare. Our experts will share insights into the state's unique landscape, highlight personal stories, and offer ways for attendees to engage in and support this essential work.

Heather Pope is the Pennsylvania Campaign Manager for Compassion & Choices. She works within communities and state legislatures advocating for expanded end-of-life options. Heather leads her organization's efforts to pass medical aid in dying legislation in Pennsylvania.

LOCATION

This will be an online event hosted via Zoom Conferencing. You do not need a Zoom account but you will need to download and install the Zoom app on your computer or mobile device to join the event. Please email us at tech@pennsvillage.org in advance if you need assistance installing the Zoom app or check our new Zoom Instructions. If you cannot join the event using your computer or mobile de-vice and the Zoom app, you can join the event via teleconference and hear the audio portion.

You will receive an email a few days before the event as well as on the day of the event with a link to the meeting, the Meeting ID, call-in telephone numbers and instructions for joining the meeting.

This program is free of charge to our members and volunteer partners. Non-member guests are welcome to attend up to three programs before being required to join and/or volunteer with Penn’s Village, or pay $10 per additional program.
