Our new Executive Director, Lynsey Farrell, and our Outreach Specialist, Camara Jordan, appeared on WURD Radio this morning in conversation with host Thera Martin. You can hear their excellent interview at the Facebook link below (our segment begins at 30.34 minutes), and it runs for about 15 minutes.
They were so terrific, in fact, that you can look for Camara and Lynsey to appear in a few weeks on Ms. Martin's show on WWDB. Keep an eye out!

Sages & Seekers is an intergenerational program that builds meaningful relationships between Sages (adults 60+) and Seekers (students 15-24) in order to diminish ageism, combat social isolation, and develop empathy. Sessions meet weekly on Zoom for 7 weeks starting the week of January 21, 2025.
If you would like to learn more about Sages & Seekers, they are hosting an information session on Zoom on Thursday, December 19th at 10:00 am PST/1:00 pm EST. If you are interested in joining the info session or enrolling in the program, please visit the website: www.sagesandseekers.org/enroll
This program is a part of ONEgeneration, a Los-Angeles-based nonprofit that supports and enriches the lives of older adults, children, and families throughout diverse communities.

| Join Medical Guardian for a Special Crafting Event!
Calling all knitters and crocheters!
On Tuesday, December 10, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, Medical Guardian and Independence Blue Cross are hosting a special crafting event at the IBX office (1919 Market Street, 2nd Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19103) —and they would love for you to join them.
Bring your knitting or crochet projects and enjoy a complimentary lunch while creating handmade scarves, hats, and mittens to help brighten someone's day this winter.
Whether you’re an experienced crafter or just starting out, all skill levels are welcome. Your finished items will be distributed to local community members in need during Operation Frosty, Medical Guardian’s annual clothing drive on December 17.
Already have finished projects? Bring them along to donate! Working on something? Bring it with you to continue during the event.
Bonus: All attendees will be entered to win a gift basket!
Let’s come together to make our community a little warmer this holiday season!
