This will be an informative program designed to help Medicare beneficiaries, caregivers, and healthcare professionals understand the upcoming changes to Medicare in 2025, with a focus on Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage. Attendees will learn about new policies, changes in coverage, and cost adjustments, as well as strategies to maximize benefits and reduce out-of-pocket expenses. This session will provide valuable insights into how these changes may impact healthcare planning and decision-making for Medicare recipients.

 Kiralie Konde, MSS, LSW, C-ASWCM is the President of Generation Crossroads, specializing in providing comprehensive support and guidance to older adults and their families as they navigate the complexities of aging.  Kiralie creates personalized care plans and connects clients with essential resources and services, ensuring their well-being and quality of life, and she is dedicated to empowering seniors and their loved ones through every stage of the aging journey. She holds her Master’s degree in Social Service from Bryn Mawr College and is certified as an Advanced Social Work Care Manager from the National Associate of Social Workers (NASW). She has been coordinating care for aging and chronically ill individuals for 20 years with extensive experience in long-term care, health care, hospice, home care and Medicare care management.

 Austin D’Arpino is a Medicare Licensed Benefits Advisor and Enrollment Broker for Medicare Advantage, Stand-Alone Part D and Medigap Plans. He began his healthcare career in 2018 at Oak Street Health, specializing in community health education. Working closely with a team of Primary Care Providers, Austin led health discussions for various community groups and organizations across Philadelphia and Delaware County. Austin's primary goal is to help clients reduce out-of-pocket expenses and maximize the benefits available to them. He holds licenses in Life, Health, and Annuity products and is contracted with major insurers including Aetna, Cigna, Humana, Jefferson Health Plans, United Health, Devoted Health, Amerihealth, Independence Blue Cross, and WellCare.

This program will be held in the MacColl Room of the First Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, 201 South 21st Street, on the southeast corner of WalnutThe entrance is at the rear of the building off of 21st Street. There is an accessible entrance behind the building off of Chancellor St.

This program is free of charge to our members and volunteer partners.  Non-member guests are welcome to attend up to three programs before being required to join and/or volunteer with Penn’s Village, or pay $10 per additional program.
