Confused by the recommendations around nutrition from your doctor, TV, Internet and other sources, much of which conflicts?  Join us for a program that will examine the vitamins, minerals, protein and other nutrients that are necessary and often deficient in the diets of older adults. Our presenter will also discuss the food sources of these nutrients, the role of supplements, nutrition-related disease reduction recommendations, and other lifestyle elements that can help keep us healthy and reduce our risk for illness.

Dr. Vimmi Panchal is a Clinical Assistant Professor, Division of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She has an appointment with nursing homes and rehabilitation centers and is a provider of outpatient and inpatient care.
