Penn’s Village Presents
“Lives Well Lived”
Documentary Screening and Discussion
Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 10:30 am - Noon
MacColl Room, First Presbyterian Church
201 S. 21st St.
The documentary film, “Lives Well Lived,” which celebrates the secrets, wit and wisdom of age, was previously shown during Older Americans Month in 2019 by Penn’s Village and the other Philadelphia-area Villages. It was extremely well-received, and we are showing it again as an introduction (and a refresher) to a new book written by the film’s producer, Sky Bergman, who we will have the opportunity to meet at our program next week on August 22 via Zoom. Attendance at both or either is welcome.
The documentary discussion and author interview will be facilitated by Penn’s Village member Harriette Mishkin, who designed and led management and leadership programs for both corporate and nonprofit clients for more than 40 years. The co-chair of the P.V. Marketing and Communications Committee, Harriette owns the original documentary film and chaired the Villages’ event in 2019.
