 “Posture and the Spine:

How to Maintain Positive Spine Health As You Age”

With Adam Kessel, Cloudline Physical Therapy

Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 10-11:30 am

In-Person at Cloudline Physical Therapy

239 S. 10th St.

The spine is our body's central support structure. Our spine helps us stay upright, maintain mobility, walk, and balance. Yet it is also one of the most common areas of pain and dysfunction throughout our lifespan! Members of Cloudline Physical Therapy will provide Penn’s Village participants with an extensive investigation into the spine, what changes as we age, and how to care for our central support structure. Topics of discussion will include osteoarthritis, scoliosis, osteoporosis, balance, strength, and self-management strategies to maintain a healthy, mobile, happy back.

Adam Kessel received his doctorate in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 2010 and has since served patients with distinction in an outpatient setting in Philadelphia. His pursuit is to provide the best program to achieve a patient's goals by understanding who they are. Adam has developed a reputation of excellence for helping patients with musculoskeletal problems. He values the importance of continual education and recognizes that to provide exemplary care, the most current and established treatment methods must be utilized. Adam is certified in the Schroth Method for treatment of scoliosis and spinal deformity. He has been a frequent provider of programs to Penn’s Village and is one of our business partners. He founded Cloudline Physical Therapy two years ago and now has two locations – Center City (near Jefferson Health) and West Philly (near Penn Medicine).
