Come hear the secret stories about Philadelphia heroes and historic sites that few people knew … until the author uncovered them during 11 years of research. It’s a history buffet you’ll remember and enjoy long after you leave the room. And it will make you far more familiar with Philadelphia leaders and landmarks.
Jim Murphy is a long-time copywriter, history-lover, former magazine editor for the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union, a certified member of the Association of Philadelphia Tour Guides, and author of “Real Philadelphia History, Real Fast,” a popular book published by Temple University Press in 2021.

Registration is required before Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 12:00 PM
This will be an in-person program in the MacColl Room of the First Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, 201 S. 21st St., at the southeast corner of Walnut St. The entrance is at the rear of the church off of 21st St. A handicapped accessible entrance is located in the back of the church on Chancellor St.
