About this event
The November elections are right around the corner and we need to do all we can to make sure there is safe, equal, and guaranteed access to the ballot box.
Pennsylvania’s June 2 primary was rife with problems: little support for voters without internet access to learn about mail-in ballots; thousands of ballots reportedly turned in after the deadline; consolidation of polling places by 77% at the last minute, leading to widespread confusion; and lack of health and safety standards at polling places.
Join us for a discussion on how we can avoid these problems in the upcoming November and all future elections.
Lynne Iser serves as President of the Elders Action Network, which is building a movement of elders addressing the social and environmental issues of our time. She is also the founding Director of the Spiritual Eldering Institute. She currently teaches Sage-ing, and the work of Joanna Macy, in webinars and retreats. She has a master’s degree in Public Health Planning and Development from the University of Texas, and a B.S. from Cornell University.

Inclusiveness and diversity means welcoming all and excluding no one because of age, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, social-economic status, physical abilities, religious beliefs or political beliefs.
