Understanding Age-Related Changes in Thinking Skills to Optimize Everyday Functioning

Have trouble finding your reading glasses? Ever walk into a room in your house and wonder to yourself, "What am I doing here?"

This talk will cover the changes in memory and thinking skills across the lifespan and how these changes affect everyday life. Strategies to reduce the impact of memory failures on daily living, and the differences between typical and more concerning memory problems will be reviewed.

Finally, attendees will be informed of participatory research opportunities at Temple University.

Our speaker is Tania Giovannetti, Ph.D. Dr. Giovannetti is a licensed clinical psychologist Board-certified in clinical neuropsychology, Professor of Psychology, and principal investigator of the Clinical Neuropsychology Laboratory at Temple University.
