Penn’s Village Response to the Coronavirus
Penn’s Village is closely monitoring all of the latest developments, news and government actions about the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We are making temporary changes to our operations out of concern for the health and safety of our members, volunteers and staff. Also, we have created this section of our website to provide a temporary resource which all of members, non-members, volunteers, staff, and business partners can access to get vital information about how to respond to this crisis. Our goal is to keep these pages up-to-date with critical links and communications about policies related to the spread of COVID-19 in our area as well as suggestions to help you manage the impact of the crisis on your lives.
The status of our operations, services, and programs are summarized below. We will update this as conditions change, so keep checking back. Also, check out the links on the following page for additional information and external resources. We will update these as quickly as possible as new information becomes available, so please come back to this page for more information.
The Penn’s Village mission is to support social engagement by connecting neighbors through our educational, cultural and social programs and provide members with essential assistance such as transportation, errands, companionship, and technology support by volunteers. During this time when we are forced to curtail this support, we are actively looking for alternative ways to provide this support. Check back on this page for further announcements.
Our wish is for everyone in the Penn’s Village family to stay healthy.
