Remember the Titanic!

Friday April 13th, 2018 at 2PM

April 15th will mark the 106th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic in the North Atlantic. This “ship of dreams” was quite literally that for the passengers on board as well as the world that looked on as it set off on its maiden voyage. Those dreams would be shattered and the world changed forever when Titanic struck an iceberg.

Please join us as we welcome Mark Klinger, who has been a Titanic historian since he was a child. He will share his insights about the ill-fated ship, its passengers, its crew, and its history. Bring any questions you may have about the famous ship and Mark will be sure to answer them.

We will meet at the historic Athenaeum at 219 South 6th Street.  The handicapped entrance is at the rear of the building.
