Aging Gracefully with Independence

A Conversation with Lois Evans and Neville Strumpf

Thursday March 15th

We are the lucky ones, looking forward to years of fulfilling, connected lives post retirement.

There is an art and a science to doing so, however, and Penn’s Village is delighted to team up with the Cosmopolitan Club to introduce two people uniquely qualified to discuss different perspectives and approaches to making the most of every day.

Lois, a member of the Penn’s Village Board of Directors, and Neville, on our Advisory Council, began working together over 30 years ago when each was a relatively new assistant professor at the Penn School of Nursing. Together, they directed their common research interests and complementary strengths to improving standards of practice in the US and globally on care for older adults. Recently retired, Lois and Neville are now contemplating what is the ‘best’ approach to ensure their own vitality in later life.  Yvonne Paterson, a professor in the Penn School of School of Nursing, will moderate the discussion.

The evening includes a reception at 5:15 PM, the program at 6:00 PM and dinner at 7:15 PM.  The cost for all is $59.00 per person.  Please RSVP by emailing info@pennsvillage.org or calling 215 – 925 – 7333.

Since we need to pay the Club in advance, please send a check made out to Penn’s Village to the address below, pay by credit card or PayPal by March 1st.

The Cosmopolitan Club is not handicapped accessible.
