|How often do you open the refrigerator and freezer doors, peer in to find something enticing for lunch or dinner, only to decide that you are not in the mood to cook? Ready-to-use convenience foods may not be that good for you – too much salt, sugar, and fat.
Matthew has the answer! Join us to learn how to select “better for you” packaged convenience foods and ways to make quick, easy and healthy meals. We will meet in the store cafe for a demonstration, food sampling, and Q&A.
Shoprite is a good friend to Penn’s Village, including our flyers in home delivery bags and now “lending” us Matthew's time.
This program is free for Penn’s Village members and volunteers. Other guests are welcome to attend three programs before joining and/or volunteering. A $5 donation to Penn’s Village from guests will be most appreciated.
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org or 215 – 925 – 7333. ShopRite at Whiteman Plaza is located at 330 West Oregon Avenue. Three Septa buses go right to the front door: the 7, 47, and 57. Check the Septa website for schedules and route information. http://www.septa.org/
