Get the Scoop: A tour of the News offices of the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News

February 28 at 10 am

With 34 years of experience as a reporter and former editorial assistant, Sally Downey is more than qualified to be our guide. Sally also has a deep knowledge of Philadelphia history, as she once served as a park ranger at Independence Hall. The highlight of the tour will be the morning news meeting where editors discuss stories reporters are working on for the next day's paper. Come to witness the stories in development, and then read them the following day in print.

We will meet just before 10 am at 801 Market Street.  The entrance is on 8th Street, just north of Market.  The newspaper offices are on the third floor and the building is handicapped accessible.

Register at info@pennsvillage.org or call 215-925-7333. This tour is free to Penn's Village members. We would appreciate a $5. donation from others.
