|Tour of Boathouse Row
June 7that 10:00 AM
Last December, we learned about the fascinating history of Philadelphia’s Boathouse Row from author Dotty Brown. On June 7th, we will explore the real thing with Penn’s Village member, volunteer and Park House Guide, Jill Raich. The “row’ we see today began to take shape in the 1860’s, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987 and is one of Philadelphia’s truly unique destinations.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 215 925 7333 to register. The Museum fee for the tour is $10 per person. Since we need to pay the Museum in advance, please send a check made out to Penn’s Village to the address below or pay through PayPal by May 24th.We would appreciate a $5 donation to Penn’s Village from guests who are not members or volunteers, payable at the event.
We will meet at 10:00 AM at the Seahorse Fountain directly behind the Philadelphia Museum of Art. When you register, make sure we have accurate contact information in case we need to reschedule because of weather. Wear comfortable shoes!
